Who We Are
SUMANTRA Psychological Counseling Center has been established with the mission to help underprivileged primary school children in the community. We informally started our work on 14th November 2005 and got registered on 28th November 2014 as a Non-Profit Organization. We're registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 in Pune, Maharashtra. Since its inception, our organization has been working on issues related to Mental Health and Education. Sometimes, children have different emotional, behavioral, or learning problems. We team up with teachers and parents to carry out a suitable improvement plan for the children. We provide facilities for Skill Assessment and Therapies for children as well as adults.

To spread awareness about learning disabilities, promote inclusive teaching techniques, and provide counselling to help children grow into confident, responsible, and productive members of society.
PROJECTS
AKSHAR-MAITRI (REMEDIATION)
Akshar Maitri is a remedial education project . Sumatra center has professional expertise to diagnose the causes of poor school performance. We provide remedial education to the children to overcome their learning difficulties.
MANN DARPAN
This is our mental health awareness program.We want to create a supportive and compassionate environment so that we can create a positive impact on mental wellness in our communities. We offer many options and approaches for a diverse range of issues and concerns.
